Another Busy Week . . .

A very busy week once again.  June is wedding month for us and our weekends are all booked up with decorated cakes.  We are still taking orders for cupcakes, cake pops and cookies, but those spots are filling up fast, too.  So if you need to place an order for June, we recommend you do so as soon as possible.

We will have some special hours and days that we will be closed on our calendar next month so we want to be sure all of our customers are aware of these in advance.

Following this week in July, we will resume normal hours on Wednesday, July 25.

We are taking some much needed time off mid-July.  We will most likely do so again in December, but we will let you know those dates for sure when the time comes.  Just as most people get at least two weeks vacation at their jobs, we also need those two weeks.  Thank you for your understanding.

The following are pictures from our Saturday wedding.  The table included three cakes, whoopie pie, mini cheesecakes, cake pops, mini cupcakes and wedding cake cookies.

10 Months!

This coming Saturday will mark our tenth month in business.  It has been a crazy ride!  Cannot believe we will be celebrating our first anniversary in just two months.

We are closed on Tuesday this week because we didn't want to work on the holiday and instead spent the day with our families.  So, we will resume our regular hours on Wednesday.

We are hoping to make a decision this week regarding the new additions to our staff.  We have a really busy month of weddings ahead of us and are looking forward to some extra help!

A big change . . .

We will no longer be making cinnamon rolls on Saturdays.  It seems that the weeks that I have made them, no one purchases them and the weeks that I do not make them, everyone wants them. So, starting this week, we will be making cinnamon rolls only when they are ordered in increments of 6 or more.   We have found that we are just not a regular stop when it comes to breakfast items, so we will stick with our desserts.   Scones can still be special ordered in smaller increments.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

It is wedding season!  We are completely booked every weekend in June for decorated cakes!  We can still accept orders for cupcakes and cookies, but those spots are limited.  If you will need party treats, please book your spot on our calendar as soon as possible!

Chocolate cake filled with a caramel peanut filling and topped with caramel buttercream, peanuts and a chocolate drizzle.

By request, we have brought back Pumpkin Spice for the week!  It is a fan favorite that we had in the fall and since fall is still a little ways away, we thought we would help you conquer your cravings this week.

Other requests were Pina Colada and Key Lime, so we are having those, too!
